Taking advantage of the fabulous weather last week, I got on my bike with pannier bag loaded with drawing and camera equiptment, plus the essential flask of ice cold coffee, and headed through the parks, along the rivers and through the industrial areas of the East End of the Glasgow. I didn’t quite know what I would work from but ended up photographing aspects of the new motorway, shooting some film footage (some of which whilst on the bike which I don’t recommend!) and drawing the urbanscape in its active creation/destruction/working modes. It was a great day out, capped by an ice cream stop at Morrisons.
